Kishore Sodha is a trumpet player, composer/arranger also known fondly as The Trumpet King of India. He has worked with stalwart Indian music composers like RD Burman, Kalyanji-Anandji, Bappi Lahiri, Anu Malik, Laxmikant Pyarelal, Anand Milind, Ilayaraja and contemporary music composers like Salim-Suleiman, Vishal-Shekhar, Sajid-Wajid, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Jatin-Lalit A R Rahman etc. He has performed in countless stage shows with Indian artists like Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Sharukh Khan, Salman Khan, Amir Khan etc. He has also worked with numerous independent artists and bands, some of them being Ska Vengers, The Bartenders and Fanculos. As a composer/arranger he has produced music for various films, singles and albums, the latest being Ménage à Trois (with Ujjayinee Roy & Ed DeGenaro). Kishore was also the first and only Indian trumpet player to be invited to share his experience and music and deliver a lecture at the International Trumpet Guild conference in 2021.
